EA have confirmed that Skate 2 will be released worldwide on 23rd January 2009 for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The game, which looks to build on the success of the first game, introduces brand new tricks and a brand new city. Skaters will also be able to explore the city off their boards.
EA are also looking into launching a web-based editor that can be used to design your own in-game boards and clothing.
