The box art for upcoming Xbox 360 title, Velvet Assassin, has been revealed. The art has a rather interesting back shot of the game’s star Violette Summer and there’s a person in the background holding what looks to be a flamethrower.
SouthPeak Games also revealed that they have partnered up with Peter Chung who will be creating some new work based on the game. Chung has previously worked on animation projects such as The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury and Æon Flux.
His graphic novel will be available as a bonus item for those who purchase Velvet Asssassin from US retailer, GameStop, in limited-quantities. It is not yet known if the novel will be available in Europe.
Velvet Assassin is a stealth action title, based on real historical events, set in the Nazi territory during World War 2. The expected release date for the game is Q3 2009.
