With the shapeshifting, sandbox-er, Prototype, releasing in June, gamers will be intrigued to hear that it will be the first Xbox 360 game to ship with full 7.1 surround sound audio on the disk.

With little utilisation of 7.1 audio available on the Xbox 360, this announcement will come as a nice surprise to those owning high-end 7.1-capable sound systems. For me? Well, I think I’ll settle with my botched together, broken 5.1 set!
