Community Manager at Infinity Ward, Robert Bowling (better known as fourzerotwo on Twitter) tweeted about an image very slowly making its way around the Internet. The image shows what looks like a menu screen for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with ‘Beta 1.3268’ towards the bottom. According to Bowling, the image is a fake. His exact words stated:
BEFORE this even becomes a news story (because I know it will) THIS IS A FAKE. A well done fake, but still fake. Sorry.
The news comes after a ‘beta tester’ apparently leaked the game’s features on fourzerotwo’s live blog which was also deemed as fake. What do you think of the image and Bowling’s statement? Leave us a comment with your thoughts.
