Swine flu has caused its first casualty of E3 2009. Dead Rising 2 will not be shown off at the show which takes place next month because of fears the flu could spread.
Capcom confirmed the news to Kotaku and said:
“Our Capcom guys are not coming to E3 because of the Japanese government restrictions,
“The company is taking the advisory very seriously.”
Dead Rising 2 will be the only game affected as due to its early stage of development, the team don’t want to trust anyone else demoing the game to the press (and why would you?).
Swine flu or no swine flu, our Ant is heading off to sunny LA where he’ll be reporting on all the latest. Tell us what you want to see at the show by visiting this thread on the forum.
