Avatar Marketplace & Unlockables are revealed

Some news on the Avatar Marketplace has finally surfaced, as you can see by the screenshot above the marketplace is being created for Xbox 360 users.

The marketplace will contain premium content for your adorable little avatars to feel at home in, this includes real life brands and game apparel. Prices have not been released yet but we know that the Halo 3 t-shirt (pictured above) will cost around 80ms points.

The unlockables mentioned before NXE launch will also be arriving at the same time. The Halo ODST armour will be one of the unlocks as well as some pom pom’s (not known what game they come from) and so on. I am guessing this is linked up to your achievements but I cannot confirm anything yet.

No date has been announced but a worldwide release is planned. I am guessing it’s coming out ready for Halo ODST. More images over at Kotaku.
