Microsoft has reassured gamers that initial pricing for Project Natal is purely ‘speculation’.
Several Swedish retailers yesterday listed the motion control device with a price that would equate to around £130 at retail in the UK.
However in a Twitter post, Xbox product director Aaron Greenberg said:
“Seeing some Qs this morning – retailers are not yet aware of pricing details for Project Natal & pre-order pricing is pure speculation.”
Previously the early rumours from the Microsoft camp suggested the device would cost under £50. Perhaps that is looking more un-certain as we approach E3 and a possible pricing announcement next month.
We’ll keep you posted. Would you pay £130 for Natal? Comment below.
