You get to be ‘wise guy’ that little bit sooner
2K Games has recently announced via their Twitter and community blog that a demo for their upcoming sequel, Mafia 2, will be officially released on August 10th, on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The demo will release a few weeks before its full retail copy hits your local highstreet and online stores, so this will be a great opportunity to sample the game’s delights and see if Mafia 2 is worth picking up.
Details on the demo are still thin, however the official US PlayStation Blog has mentioned on their Twitter that the mission available in the demo will be called “Buzzsaw”. Being a sandbox title, I would expect the demo to be time limited, in a similar way to the recent Crackdown 2 demo, buthopefully we’ll get time to sample some driving as well as fisticuffs and shootouts alongside the mob.
Only a few days to go Mafia fans! Let us know if you are looking forward to this in the comments. What would you like to see or be able to do in this upcoming demo?
