A press release from Activision today confirmed one of more frequently asked questions of Black Ops, that yes, a Zombie mode will feature in the game. The press release states:
“Zombies have been such a hit with our community that we were committed to bringing brand new zombie experiences to Call of Duty: Black Ops,” says Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia. “We’ve taken extra special care to retain the essential ingredients of our Zombie game, and have also crafted a nice surprise for the fans.”
The game will also feature an all new co-op game called Combat Training in which up to six players can rank up, although no further details were specified as to what this might entail.
The game releases worldwide on November 9th – hopefully this announcement will come as welcome news to Nazi Zombie fans.
