People who were in the dashboard preview program received an email yesterday stating that a mandatory update the dashboard would be available on November 1st. The email read,”On November 1, 2010, there will be a mandatory service update to Xbox Live. This update will both add new features to your service and also enhance the interface, navigation, and responsiveness of Xbox Live.”
Not only does this update allow users to attach Microsoft’s upcoming motion controller, it also adds other features such a new look, improved voice codecs and ESPN3 for American users. On top of all this, the avatars will be slightly refreshed to match the new look the dashboard will be given.
