With the crusade moving from the asylum to the streets you’d have expected to be able to drive the batmobile, or funny little bike. Unfortunately this will not be the case (sadness fills me) as the games director Sefton Hill has revealed the game will feature no vehicles.
“There aren’t any playable vehicles in the game. What we’ve really focused on is Batman himself. We see him as the ultimate vehicle”. Given that the man of bats is now able to scale buildings and manoeuvre with far greater flexibility, navigating the city may feel as convenient as Ezio scaling Rome (minus the clumsy horse).
Whatever the case, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for further news on the undoubtedly blockbuster of Q3 2011.
