Ubisoft has released a schedule of games its planning to release this coming year and on the whole there is nothing really that has changed. Even so a couple of dates caught are eye.
Firstly Splinter Cell Trilogy is now done for a Q2 release this year, although no date has been announced a June rollout is still expected which will please many a PS3 fan.
The news is a little more grim for Driver: San Francisco which has now been pushed back on both PS3 and Xbox 360 until this coming September. There is a chance it could get pushed back even further so fingers crossed we’ll only have to wait until September.
Although from a marketing point of a view this is a very bold move by Ubisoft, who if they do manage a September release will be pitting Driver in direction competition with the powerhouse that is Gears of War 3 and sadly we all know which game will win that tussle.
