Sources close to Develop have today revealed that Microsoft may be planning to bring a number of free-to-play games to the Xbox 360.
MS are supposedly currently in talks with numerous developers hoping to bring a new business model offering gamers either in-game upgrades or items for Microsoft Points with the basic core game being available for free.
This sort of system is similar to that of many iPhone apps, where you download the basic title for free, but certain items within the game can only be unlocked by paying for them/
Microsoft have yet to respond to said claims so please take the above with a generous pinch of salt, mixed with lean mince beef, tomatoes and a dash of Worcestershire sauce.
