Already Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 are going nose to nose in an attempt to be crowned the best FPS of 2011. It seems that for now Battlefield 3 is winning said race.
Battlefield is outselling Modern Warfare 3 which is “definitely a first”. The news was confirmed by GameStop insider HipHop Gamer. Along with the above it was also revealed the GameStop are being urged to push Battlefield 3 more so than it’s competitor Modern Warfare 3.
EA haven’t been scared to admit MW3 is a good game either, they have openly admitted that Activisions new title is going to be very tough competition. Even with a supposed boycott against Battlefield it is amazing to see the title to be coming out on top.
Of course this is not based on sales and come release day everything could change, even so it’s vey interesting news to say the least.
