With a week to go until it hits our consoles, the folks at NetherRealms have been kind enough to give us a glimpse of my favourite DC character with this new Green Lantern Trailer.

I am impressed by the constructs bothgraphically and by the defensive and attacking nature they appear to offer to thecharacter and theplayer’s choice of attack style (offensive or defensive). Then there is the fanboy inside of me that is amazed to see have Hal as a Sinestro Corp (yellow lantern) member as well as a green lantern but two of the same character, what does this mean for the story? Rumour has it that an alternate universe which hasn’t been explored in the tie in comics at this point (currently available to download via comixology at $0.99 per issue).

What are your thoughts on the trailer? I am not keen on the voice acting, especially at the end with Oliver Queen / Green Arrow but it hasn’t put me off the game yet. The game is due to release on 16^th April in America and 19^th April in Europe. As always, please let us know your thoughts on the trailer and game by leaving a comment below.
