Sony has announced their own suite of official PlayStation 4 accessories that will appearing at launch of the new console.
The DualShock 4 Charge Station will retail at a RRP of £24.99 and will keep up to two DualShock 4’s charged when you are not gaming. The console will come with a play-and-charge cable regardless, so if you are not a fan of wires, then maybe the Charge Station is a peripheral for you?
The second official accessory coming on launch day is the Vertical Stand. Retailing for £15 the PlayStation official Vertical Stand will do exactly what you think it will, yes, stand your PS4 up on its side. Featuring two screw clamps underneath, you will be safe in the knowledge that a simple knock will not tip your shiny new console over.
It is worth remembering about all the other third-party accessory manufacturers out there. They will no doubt bring their own line-up of cheaper solutions for your new console.
