With all the hoo-haa and furore around the Xbox One launch, messages can get mixed pretty darn easily. That’s something Popcap and the rest of us may have to come to terms with when it comes to Xbox One timed exclusive Peggle 2. Ah, semantics.
The game was famouslyrevealed back at Gamescom, and was said to be a “launch” title for the Xbox One. However, inan email to GamesBeat, Popcap’s senior director of PR Garth Chouteau has now said that the ball-busting bundle of joy “is a ‘launch timeframe’ title, but will not launch day-and-date with the Xbox One.” However, the game won’t be too far behind the November 22nd launch date, with Chaoteau saying that it’ll turn up “a few weeks later in December” – although no more specific date was given than that.
