Microsoft have recently revealed that they plan to, in the near future, release an update for the software on the Xbox 360. According to our sources the software update, which we could see within the next six months, will allow Live users to send and receive text message to users on the MSN mobile phone network, all via the 360 Guide.
No fee has been attached to this service as of yet, and apparently Microsoft wishes to connect more and more mobile devices to the 360 including mobile phones which use the ‘Windows Mobile’ operating system.
So would you take advantage of such service, especially if free, texting your friends informing them of your latest 360 victory?
