Microsoft has revealed the next wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass throughout late July and early August 2026, featuring both Day One additions and new arrivals for current subscribers. Among the most notable inclusions is Halo: Campaign Evolved, a modern remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved campaign.
Halo: Campaign Evolved launches on Xbox Game Pass on 28 July, available across cloud, console, handheld, and PC platforms for Game Pass Ultimate and PC subscribers. This updated version rebuilds the classic campaign with HD visuals, updated controls, and supports up to four-player online co-op. It also adds three new missions alongside expanded weaponry, vehicles, and enemy types.
Additional July and August Game Pass Launches
Several other new games will join Game Pass soon. Release dates include:
• Shift at Midnight, an online co-op detective horror title, arriving on 22 July for Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
• Hell is Us, a melee-focused action game set in a war-torn fantasy nation, launching 23 July.
• Mistfall Hunter, a dark fantasy extraction action RPG with solo and multiplayer modes, arriving 30 July.
• Corsair Cove, a pirate-themed city-builder available on PC from 31 July.
• Heretic + Hexen, a re-release of classic spellcasting shooters, coming to Game Pass Premium on 4 August.
• Beast of Reincarnation, Game Freak’s action RPG blending real-time and turn-based combat, also arriving 4 August on Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Other titles already added this month include The Planet Crafter, available since 21 July across cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and Buckshot Roulette and Denshattack!, which launched earlier in July.
Departures and In-Game Benefits
Several games will leave the Game Pass library on 31 July. These include Celeste, Crusader Kings 3, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, and Rain World, among others, across cloud, console, and PC. Players wishing to keep these games can purchase them at a discount before removal.
Additionally, Zenless Zone Zero is offering in-game benefits for Game Pass members, with new agents becoming available from 29 July.
This lineup reflects Microsoft’s continued investment in bolstering Game Pass with a mix of high-profile remakes, indie titles, and genre variety. The additions are accessible to Xbox console gamers, PC players, and those using cloud gaming, highlighting the service’s multi-platform reach.
