Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus monthly games for August, offering subscribers three new titles from August 4 through August 31. The lineup includes Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk, and Signalis, covering a range of genres and gameplay styles available on PS4 and PS5.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition is available on PS4 and PS5, placing players in a hostile post-apocalyptic cityscape where viral outbreaks have turned much of the population into monsters. Players control Aiden Caldwell, a figure caught between rival factions whose decisions influence the narrative and gameplay world. The game features up to four-player cooperative play, allowing users to join others or host sessions.
Big Walk Offers Cooperative Puzzle Adventure
Also coming to PS5 with PlayStation Plus is Big Walk, a cooperative multiplayer game emphasising communication and teamwork. Players traverse an expansive world filled with puzzles and challenges, requiring active coordination and use of various tools to navigate. The experience places a strong focus on social interaction, including moments for casual exploration and relaxation within the game environment.
Signalis Brings Psychological Horror to PS4
Signalis, available for PS4 subscribers, provides a survival horror experience set in a retro-futuristic environment. Players take on the role of Elster, a technician Replika on a quest to find a lost partner. The game combines atmospheric exploration with challenging puzzles and psychological horror themes.
Additionally, from August 6, PlayStation Plus members can claim the MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls PlayStation Plus Pack via the PlayStation Store. This pack contains five avatars inspired by characters such as Captain America and Spider-Man, as well as in-game character poses for use within the PS5 version of the game. The pack will remain available to claim until August 6, 2027.
The PlayStation Plus August monthly games roster provides a mix of genres for subscribers, with availability limited to the month-long period. Players are advised to download the games within the provided timeframe to retain access.
