New job listings on GameDev.net seem to reveal that Midway are currently working a sequel to Xbox title Area 51, unsurpringly called Area 52 as well as another unknown title called Criminal. Both titles mention the Xbox 360 and PS3 in the listings so undoubtedly both titles will appear on both platforms.
The listings don’t give much away about either title. The Area 52 jobs list experience with Unreal Engine as a bonus while the Criminal listings are looking for someone to “create and implement real-time and pre-rendered cinematic elements for cutting edge games”
Midway has yet to confirm either title. We’ll let you know when we know more.
