Great news everyone the new Xbox 360 HD-DVD player has been released, well at least you would have thought this to be good news. Sadly for those who didn’t pre-order the new player (myself included) will have to either wait for a couple of weeks or go over to eBay and pay ten times the RRP.
Well ok ten times the RRP is a bit exaggerated, the HD-DVD is in fact selling on eBay for more than £250 which is still double the normal price. Many retailers are quoting that their second shipment of HD-DVD’s is coming on the 8th… yes I know a whole 7 days but is it really worth paying an additional £120 just to get it 7 days early, I think not.
Look out for our review of the new player which should be up within the next few days.
