Kitty Pride, a mutant, Pryde possesses a “phasing” ability that allows her and objects or people with which she is in contact to become intangible.
At no point in that mutant’s summary did I see the name ‘Agent 47’ pop up, yet we hear today that Agent 47 although he cannot walk through walls, he will possess the ability to see through them.
The new ability that IO Interactive has dubbed ‘Instinct’ will let gamers see the positions and routes taken by guards through walls when it’s activated. It will help you stay in the shadows and take down your foe without so much as raising your little finger. You can even now try to bluff your way past a guard who has spotted you or been alerted by your presence.
The reason you can now bluff is that IO Interactive wants gamers to understand cause and effect. You will have the chance to make the correct decisions knowing that the wrong one will more than likely end with you floating in your own blood.
You can of course choose to have the Instinct mode switched off for all you hardcore gamers, in the mean time IO has said this new game will be a little bit of what you already know, with a dash of something new to spice things up.
Hitman: Absolution is looking at a release date sometime next year.
