In a move unlikely to win them back any of thefans they lost thanks to the over-hyped, lacklustre Too Human, Silicon Knights have shoe-horned yet another “original” character into their internet-baiting Marvel collaboration, X-Men: Destiny, alongside main protagonist Adrian Luca.
The newest redundant addition to the already-overpopulated Marvel universe comes in the form of Aimi Yoshida, a “bitter, abandoned and angry” young girl discovering her own powers. Dennis Dyack and Co. will likely have a tough enough time shifting copies without upsetting the entire online community. Again.
Still, with lessons in humility learned from 2008’s Too Human, there’s still time for Silicon Knights to turn the frown upside down.
