Batman: Arkham City has shipped 4.6 million copies in its first week of sales.
The game released on last Friday (21st October) in Europe and has already reached double what its predecessor, Batman: Arkham Asylum, sold in the same length of time.
Speaking about the game, Warner Interactive President, Martin Tremblay, said: “Batman: Arkham City is one of the best action adventure games, proven by the tremendous reviews, and it further establishes the Batman brand as a marquee franchise for our growing business.”
