The Bioshock 2: Special Edition – Click to enlarge
A Bioshock 2: Special Edition has been revealed by 2K Games. The Special Edition is set to feature three posters featuring vintage adverts from the city of Rapture, a vinyl featuring the orchestral score from the original Bioshock, a CD containing the Bioshock 2 orchestral score, a 164 page hardbound artbook and a copy of the game.
The original Bioshock received similar treatment, containing a bonus DVD, soundtrack CD and Big Daddy figurine along with the game. However, many of the figurine’s were damaged and 2k Games were forced to offer a replacement service – possibly the reason a figurine has not been included in the Bioshock 2 Special Edition.
The Special Edition will be priced at £69.99 for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, releasing on 9th February 2010.
