Movement speed problems affecting Call Of Duty: Black Ops’ online players have now been fixed, according to developer Treyarch.
“A slight problem with the latest hotfix” for the 360 and PS3 versions of the game resulted in many gamers experiencing a throttled speed whilst playing online, but the game has now been restored to its former glory.
“The movement speed decrease on #CODBlackOps 360 & PS3 was unintentional, now fixed,” Tweeted Treayarch’s community manager, Josh Olin, via the popular social networking website. “Restart your games and all will be normal.”
Multiplayer designer David Vonderhaar added: “Xbox still feel slow? Be sure your version number says 52.33.43.6 and if not reboot again.”
The first Black Ops map pack add-on, First Strike, hits Xbox 360 Marketplace on February 1.
