At EA’s E3 conference 2009, Crytek revealed that Crysis will be coming to consoles. Unfortunately, it’s not the PC version you’d have expected. Cevat Yerli, co-founder and President of Crytek announced that the sequel, Crysis 2, would be releasing on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC simultaneously.
Yerli confirmed the game will use the new Cry Engine 3 and that more details will be avaiable later this year.
