After it’s initial week of release had a lot of reported bugs, lag and disconnect issues the team at Trion Worlds have worked hard to release a patch. It was sad for me then to go to play the game after downloading said patch to find the servers offline.
The developers on Twitter are reporting:
“We’re finding issues with our latest patch – we’re taking down Xbox and PC for maintenance. Check http://Forums.Defiance.Com for more info”
and then later
“To Confirm – Xbox and PC are down as we fix patch related issues. PS3 is still up (it was not patched)”
and then later
“Our team is working to resolve remaining issues around Patch 1.010. We apologize for the delay and will update again shortly #DefiancePatch”
With the companion TV show currently being aired around the world (In the UK you can find it on SyFy tonight), the latest update and hiccup is unfortunate for the game and developers. I would like to think I will be able to get back into game today but I’m not holding out too much hope.
We should have our thoughts and opinions on the game shortly in our review. Until then what do you think to the game? Let us know by leaving a comment below.
