FIFA 10 at huge discounts as stores go to war

A major FIFA 10 price war has kicked off with the release of the game today.

As we announced on Tuesday, supermarkets were the first to start shifting the game at a knockdown price from midnight this morning. Leading the pack was Tesco with its £24.97 price-point for both the PS3 and 360 versions of the game.

At two pence dearer, surprisingly Morrisons is the next cheapest at a reasonable £24.99 for both versions whilst Asda have mustered up a £26.71 price mark.

If you can’t be bothered to move from your seat, online retailer Amazon have the game at £24.99. Meanwhile if you are looking for a brand new console, Game and Gamestation have a 360 Elite with FIFA 10 and NFS: Shift for just £199.99.

Most offers finish Sunday, so you must be quick. We’ll be kicking our balls around very soon, so check out a review shortly.

. Do you think games should be priced like this more often, or do retailers realise they have big-sellers and can sell them at low price-points to make a loss? Tell us below.
