Ubisoft has released the first, utterly free piece of DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. The “Animus Project Update 1.0” is available for download now, and arrives with an all-new multiplayer map, the tiered Mont Saint-Michel. It even adds an additional multiplayer mode, titled Advanced Alliance, which organises players into three teams of two.
Ubisoft has also announced that the second DLC pack, the Animus Project Update 2.0, will be available in January, and will also be free to download. According to Ubisoft, the second DLC pack will feature a multiplayer map based in Pienza, as well as an all-new “Chest Capture” game mode.
