The Gears of War 3 Booster Pack is now available to download.
The downloadable content features five new maps in total. There are two remade maps from the first title in the series (Clocktower and Bullet Marsh), a remake of “the most popular Horde map of all time” (Blood Drive) and two new maps (Azura and Rustlung).
The maps were made available earlier this month for the price of 800 Microsoft Points as part of the “Hode Command Pack.” Purchasers of the free Booster Pack miss out onnew fortification levels and command posts in Horde, two new weapon skin packs, three multiplayer characters: Bernie, Onyx Guard and Big Rig Dizzy and an additional 250 GamerScore to unlock.
Those who own a Gears of War 3 Season Pass are warned that “content should be accessed through the in-game store AND NOT DOWNLOADED from Xbox LIVE Marketplace or you will be charged twice.”
