Following reports of “hitching” when playing The Walking Dead, Telltale Games are offering the game to affected users for free.
Hitching is when the “gameplay is interrupted by unacceptable freezing or stuttering” though, following an investigation, the publisher believes that the issue only affects “Xbox 360 4GB models not fitted with an internal hard disk drive”.
Telltale Games have suggested those affected can install an “internal hard disk drive compatible with your Xbox360 4GB console” or, alternatively, to fill in the “Claim Redemption Form” to receive codes to download season one.
The news was reported in a post on the publishers’ forum, in which they added: “We value our customers and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.”
