Sony has today revealed that Gran Turismo 5, Polyphony’s all-encompassing driving simulator, has shifted a cool 5.5 million copies since launching last month.
The series, which debuted in Japan on December 1997, has now sold in excess of 61 million copies worldwide, proving just how popular the series has become since 1997.
