Bungie has announced in there weekly update that Halo 3 Recon will not be sold as downloadable content.
Halo 3 Recon was officially unveiled as such at the Tokyo Games Show last week and in their FAQ they have confirmed that no ‘Recon’ content will be added into Halo 3 in the form of downloadable content.
“Beyond the Mythic Map Pack early next year, there are no plans to release other portions of the Recon package outside of the retail box,” read the update.
It does seem then that the game won’t be up for download but will be sold as an expansion pack in stores. This will mean that they can sell the game at a fairer price for everyone rather than in Microsoft Points which are criticised for having different exchange rates worldwide.
As we learn more, we shall bring it you.
