PlayStation has expanded its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for August, introducing several new titles for subscribers on PS4 and PS5. The additions include Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Vampire Survivors and Hell is Us among others, offering a range of genres for varied player preferences.
Helldivers 2, developed by Arrowhead Game Studios, is now available for PlayStation Plus Extra members worldwide starting August 12. The game is a cooperative multiplayer shooter where players join elite soldiers defending Super Earth against alien threats, featuring friendly fire enabled for more challenging team play. Its release on the service coincides with a major game update, enhancing the experience for new and returning players.
Additional Titles Arrive Mid-August on PlayStation Plus
The majority of the new additions will be accessible from August 18. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II continues the medieval role-playing saga, placing players in 15th-century Bohemia as Henry of Skalitz, while Vampire Survivors offers a casual roguelike bullet hell challenge focused on surviving waves of monsters. Hell is Us presents a third-person action-adventure journey with exploration and melee combat elements in a semi-open world.
Also joining PlayStation Plus Premium this month are Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire. These titles expand the premium tier’s classic and narrative offerings.
PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Expands With Diverse Genre Offerings
August’s PlayStation Plus additions further diversify the subscription’s game catalog. Other releases on August 25 include Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodus, and Dying Light 2, broadening options from tactical shooters to post-apocalyptic survival titles.
Players on PS4 and PS5 subscribing to PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium tiers can access these games, emphasising Sony’s continued efforts to offer a broad range of content across genres and eras. The inclusion of recent releases alongside established franchises suggests an ongoing commitment to maintaining a varied library for its console user base.
Helldivers 2 is the first of the new batch available from today, while other titles will follow later in the month on PlayStation Plus. Specific release dates vary by region, with the US, UK, and Japan highlighted for some launches.
