According to GameTrailers then the answer is simply yes. GT revealed that Sony’s US Playstation website has posted new information regarding a new Syphon Filter game before just as quickly back tracking and removing said information.
The game is supposedly in development at SCE’s London Studio and is being made from scratch ready for it’s rumoured release in Q4 of 2012. As you’ll see below what could possibly be a Syphon Filter 4 logo was also innadvertently released during this supposed ‘leak’.
For now I’d take this news and the logo with a pinch of salt until more is officially confirmed. Even so it’s exciting news to say the least for fans of the long running series and it will hopefully be the first non-port version to hit next-gen consoles.
