Madden fans will get the chance to choose who will grace the cover of EA’s latest version of the series, Madden 2012. Through a fan based voting system on ESPN’s website fans have whittled down a possible 32 candidates for the Madden front cover to just two, Cleveland Browns Running Back Peyton Hillis and comeback kid Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback.
Peyton Hillis goes into the finals as the underdog despite taking a huge scalp in the form of Superbowl XLIII MVP Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. Sadly in making it to the finals he faces one of this year’s greatest success stories in the form of previously disgraced Atlanta Falcons QB Vick, who after returning from a two year jail term for dog fighting took the Eagles to the playoffs despite Philadelphia’s less than stellar start to the season.
It would be great to see a non-Quarterback player grace the cover of this year’s Madden, but Hillis has got his work cut out if he wants to take down Vick in the finals. The winner will be announced on ESPN April 27th.
