Although below Microsoft’s original 90-day sales target they still hope to shift 2.5 Million Xbox 360 systems by the end of Febuary.
To give themselves a little moral boost to earning this goal Microsoft have recently released reports highlighting that the new next gen console has already sold a total of 1.5 Million for the week ending December 31st 2005. 900,000 of these were sold in the USA, with 500,000 being taken in be European gamers, and the remaining 100,000 selling in the land of the rising sun, Japan.
So will they reach their target? It seems likely with supply finally beginning to catch up with demand…
