Microsoft announced today that they will be increasing the price of their Xbox Live service in US, UK, Canada and Mexico on 1st November.
The price changes for a monthly payment in each region are as follows:
US $7.99 –> $9.99
UK £4.99 –> £5.99
Canada $8.99 –> $9.99
Mexico 499 Pesos –> 599 Pesos
Why Microsoft has increased their pricing is unknown but with Kinect and Windows Phone 7 launching shortly, perhaps it has something to do with this.
