Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed the PlayStation Plus monthly games for October 2026. Subscribers to the service can access F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 starting from Tuesday, October 6, through Monday, November 2.
F1 25 is the official game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship, available exclusively on PS5. It features single-player modes such as Career and My Team 2.0, letting players manage and compete as the owner of a Formula 1 team. The game introduces a new multiplayer mode called F1 World, enabling squads to race against AI drivers in online competition.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 brings players into a historical setting in this extraction shooter on PS5. The game involves tracking and battling monstrous foes and rival hunters either solo or with up to two teammates. Players aim to secure boss bounties and extract safely, balancing risk and cooperation.
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is offered for both PS4 and PS5. This title adopts a voxel art style and incorporates soldiers and enemies from across the EDF franchise, including spin-off series. Players assemble teams of four from collected characters and engage in battles against large waves of enemies. The game supports up to four-player online co-op and two-player local split-screen multiplayer.
These titles will remain available on PlayStation Plus until November 2, providing subscribers access without additional cost beyond their subscription fees. The offering covers both current and previous generation PlayStation consoles where specified.
Players still have until Monday, October 5 to add the September PlayStation Plus monthly lineup—Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, and Chained Echoes—to their libraries.
