Those of you lucky enough to have enough space on your PlayStation 3 hardrives to take advantage of the PlayTv feature, you may be glad to know that the update 1.10 has gone live this morning. Here’s what you can expect!
Update 1.10
– The PS3 will now do your upscaling from SD to HD, rather than your television, which normally brings better results,
– You can now adjust the volume via the Blu-ray remote which means you won’t have to fiddle around for the main TV remote
– You can now toggle switch back to the previous channel using the Blu-ray remote
– You can now set PlayTV to go straight to Live TV rather than presenting you with that horrible carousel menu every time you boot it up.
– Faster re-wind speed
It is worth mentioning that those of you waiting for a “reminder” function to be available will be disappointed. There’s also no series link recording yet either.
