Project Spark, the unique game creation tool for Xbox One, will be free for all customers whether they have a Live Gold subscription or not, according to a company representative.
Responding toa fan’s question on Reddit, a community manager said “you do not need an Xbox Live Gold account to play Project Spark”.
Many had assumed the service would be locked behind Xbox Live Gold, which is currently required to access many free internet services on Xbox such as YouTube and Internet Explorer.
