EA and Harmonix have just announced that Rock Band 2 will finally arrive on UK shores on November 21st, but only for the Xbox 360. However only the game will debut on the 21st with the hardware becoming avaliable sometime in December.
The game has already been out in America for just over a month now and with the delay to the original Rock Band, many fans thought we wouldn’t see a release until 2009 over here. However an advert on UK television hinted that Rock Band 2 would make it out pre-Christmas.
Those with the original Rock Band will be able to export songs from the original and new modes include an Online World Tour and Battle-of-the-Band tournaments. The drum kit is now wireless and will have more sensitive pads which are quieter while three symbols will be supported and will be sold.
Around 500 songs will be avaliable by the end of the year (which will cost you a fair bit!) thanks to the original game and downloads plus new content which will be added each week.
Rock Band 2 will cost £49.99 and will be rated 12+. Tell us below if you plan to purchase the game!
