The Cursed Crusade – Trailer

Of all the Crusades, the common consensus is that the 4th one was pretty bad. Considering the brutal genocide of infidels is hardly a bake-sale at the best of times, that’s a fairly damning indictment.

Apparently, the 4th Crusade was so violent, maniacal and evil that it makes the perfect setting for a videogame, hence this upcoming hack ‘n’ slash action adventure from Atlus and Kylotonn. Although set in the 12th Century and during a genuine historical event, the game will feature a good deal of mythhology and magic, as your main character is a Crusader inflicted with the Templar’s Curse, effectively putting the powers of Hell at his disposal – but guaranteeing he’s going to end up there when he kicks the bucket… The Cursed Crusade is due in July.
