It seems only a matter of time before a Rock Band game is released based on Barney characters or the Teletubbies but the first non-musical franchise to be consumed by the Rock Band colossus is the ubiquitous brick-laying toy brand, LEGO. With LEGO Rock Band’s UK release date just on the horizon on November 27th, it’s been revealed that rock legends Queen will all be making an appearance through their blocky likenesses.
The entire band, consisting of the iconic Freddie Mercury, guitar hero Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor and bassist John Deacon, will be transformed into little plastic men for all our enjoyment while they rock out to We Are The Champions and We Will Rock You.
Seemingly excited about this venture, May said, “This is IT! I wanna play! When do I get my toy LEGO man?“. He’ll be disappointed that its just in-game then.
