As was expected due to the number of rumors and reports going around, the Xbox Live Video Marketplace has gone live in five new regions: the UK, Canada, Germany, France, and Ireland. For now it seems to be the same SD and HD content that the US has had access to, although that isn’t exactly words of praise.
The only difference some might spot is the fact that some shows appear to be censored-for-TV versions due to running times, and there is a distinct lack of English language tracks in the non-English speaking countries. Although with the Xbox now able to stream DivX/Xvid, the Video Marketplace may just be a second thought for consumers.
