Rockband is celebrating the arrival of its 1000th song, since the updates began back in 2006.
We’ve reported on the series over the past few years with the arrival of full albums and of course the launch of Rock Band 2 and The Beatles: Rock Band more recently.
Since 2006, over 60 million songs have been downloaded, which is a staggering amount and of course profit for the company. Each song costs around £1 each on the various consoles, so you can do the maths.
Launching early in 2010 is the new Rock Band Network which will allow you to share and sell your own music. Of course it’ll be vetted and only serious contenders will be allowed onto the marketplace for all to see.
The series will strengthen tomorrow with the release of LEGO: Rock Band with another 45 songs on the disc.
Tell us below what your favourite songs have been over the past three years?
