Ubisoft Adds Premium Content and PC Redemption for Xbox on PC Players

Ubisoft and Xbox have announced an expansion of their collaboration with the introduction of premium editions and additional content for various Ubisoft games on the Xbox PC app. Alongside this, Xbox digital owners of select Ubisoft titles can now redeem PC versions at no extra cost through Ubisoft Connect.

The update brings premium editions and add-ons to a broad selection of Ubisoft games available via Xbox on PC. The lineup includes major franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Star Wars Outlaws, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Skull and Bones, and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Other franchise highlights include Far Cry, The Crew, and Watch Dogs.

New Premium Content Available on Xbox PC App

This upgrade significantly enhances the offerings on Xbox for PC users by adding digital premium editions and selected DLC for Ubisoft’s key titles. Players can now access these expanded versions through the Xbox PC app, providing more options within the Ubisoft catalogue on this platform.

To access the new content, users should ensure their Ubisoft Connect client is updated to the latest version, which will synchronise these offerings with their libraries.

Free PC Version Redemption for Xbox Digital Owners

The partnership also introduces a free PC redemption feature allowing players who own digital Xbox console versions of certain Ubisoft games to claim the corresponding PC version via Ubisoft Connect without additional charges. Titles supported in this offer include Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Far Cry 6, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Riders Republic, Skull and Bones, The Crew 2, The Crew Motorfest, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and Watch Dogs Legion.

New digital purchases of the eligible games grant access to both Xbox console and PC versions immediately, while existing owners of Xbox digital editions will receive the PC versions through a progressive rollout concluding by 4 August.

It is important to note that this offer is one-sided; owning the PC version does not grant access to the Xbox console version free of charge. Additionally, most Season Passes and DLC content owned on Xbox will transfer to the PC version, except for consumables such as in-game currency or one-time-use items. Players can review their specific DLC ownership and edition information on Ubisoft Connect for PC.

This expansion offers Xbox players enhanced value and flexibility across consoles and PC through the Ubisoft Connect ecosystem, reinforcing cross-platform accessibility within Ubisoft’s library.
