Hoyoverse has confirmed that Zenless Zone Zero will launch on Xbox on PC, including Xbox Play Anywhere support across Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Cloud Gaming, on 29 July 2026. This release coincides with the game’s Version 3.1 update, marking the title’s second anniversary.
The Version 3.1 update, titled “The Long Goodbye,” introduces new story questlines and two new playable characters. Remielle Dan, an S-Rank Anomaly Agent and the first Lumiflux attribute agent capable of adapting her damage based on team composition, joins the roster alongside the S-Rank Ice Attack Agent Sigrid, who also becomes playable in this update.
New Gameplay Features and Anniversary Content
Alongside new characters, the 3.1 update adds a fresh game mode called Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel. Players will also benefit from 1,600 Polychrome login rewards and up to 20 new signal searches distributed across the game world.
To celebrate Zenless Zone Zero’s two-year milestone, the update enables players to select one of five S-Rank agents—Jane, Soldier 0/Anby, Hugo, Trigger, or Lucia—each accompanied by exclusive W-Engine weapons.
Platform Availability and Cross-Play Support
Zenless Zone Zero originally launched on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and PC via the Epic Games Store and Hoyoverse client. With the Xbox on PC launch, the game now supports full cross-play between these platforms and Xbox, allowing continued progression and multiplayer interaction across devices.
The Xbox on PC release utilises Xbox Play Anywhere, enabling players to switch seamlessly between Xbox Series X|S consoles and cloud streaming with Xbox Cloud Gaming, providing more flexibility for Xbox players to access the game.
The addition of Zenless Zone Zero to Xbox on PC expands its availability within the Xbox ecosystem for a wider audience, giving console players access to the title alongside PC gamers. The game continues to operate as a free-to-play action gacha with ongoing updates and content additions.
